A ton of new iOS 8 features apparently went unannounced by Apple at WWDC. There’s only so much you can squeeze into a 2-hour presentation that involved other products. However, most of iOS 8’s unannounced features were unearthed soon after the event. Most, but not all.
If this developer’s tweet is anything to go by, it appears iOS 8 is also built to support multi-screen multitasking, a feature that already made its way to Android aeons ago.
So… just in case there was any doubt left… iOS 8’s SpringBoard has code to run two apps side-by-side. 1/4 size, 1/2 size, or 3/4 size

Looks like iOS 8 can’t come soon enough for Apple fanboys.
