Brett-St-Clair

Brett StClair, Google for Work Regional Manager Sub Sahara Africa will be leaving Google to take up a new position as Head of Sales at Money For Jam (M4JAM), a South African based micro-jobbing startup.

According to Ventureburn, the micro-jobbing startup used to function only in WeChat before breaking out on its own – M4JAM creates a platform for people to make money using their phones each time they “get a job done” for companies.

Around 25,000 jobs are usually completed on the platform every week. The founders, Andre Hugo and Warren Venter revered StClair as the most high-profile hire made by the startup and praised the incoming manager for the “doors he can open.”

“We’ve been chomping at the bit to get Brett on board.” “The doors that he can open are just amazing,” Hugo told Ventureburn.

Brett StClair has spent nearly two years as Country Manager for Google’s mobile advertising company AdMob and as Head of Mobile at Google South Africa. He is set to resume his new work on March 1st.
