eportal

An online platform to streamline the day-to-day at Ghana’s Registrar-General’s Department (GRD), e-registrar, has been launched in Accra.

According to a media release from ghana.gov.gh, the portal will provide ease of transaction between clients and the GRD as regards marriage registration, business/company registration, estate registration and other e-payments.

Dr Edward Omane-Boamah, Ghana’s Minister for Communications speaking at the event launch said the new module “will enable clients to access the services from their homes, offices, anywhere around the earth and at the same time, pay for the services through the government online payment system studied by the National IT Unit through the Ministry of communication.”

The portal will be combined with two existing platforms; the Ghana e-payment portal (GEPP) and the Ghana Revenue Authority e-tax portal, wherefore, users will be identified with their Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Users can access the portal via www.rgd.gov.gh.
