Nigeria’s First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has integrated its e-payment service with NetplusPay.

In an emailed press release sent to TechCabal, FCMB also announced that it will be providing full settlement solutions for sellers that will be using the platform irrespective of their banks.

“We at the Bank strongly believe that the integration of NetPlusPay into the FCMB payment options is a step in the right direction to better serve our customers. This partnership will benefit not only customers who trade and receive payments online, but also those who make payments for goods and services at various points of sale.” The Divisional Head of Transaction Banking at FCMB, Mrs. Rolayo Akhigbe said.

NetplusPay was launched January this year by Netplus; the e-payment platform enables online payments via bank accounts integrated with the platform.

NetplusPay is a growing Nigerian payments company that plans to ease payment issues that are still predominant across all e-commerce sites in Nigeria. It plans to integrate other banking platforms as well.
