First Codery, Nigeria’s first open code kids’ nursery, is organising a coding summer camp for children between the ages of 4 – 12 years. The camp will run for five days, from the 27th to the 31st of July 2015, at Lekki in Lagos.

The summer camp aims to provide children with the opportunity to learn how to code and master problem solving techniques using their imagination, computers and Raspberry Pis. The curriculum will include Loops and Events, Sequences and Conditionals, Algorithms and Functions, Binary Codes and Sequences and Debugging amongst other subjects. This initiative follows several others that aim to introduce children to the world of coding.

The camp will be run in two sessions daily. The morning session from 9am to 11am will be for children between the ages of 4 and 7, while the afternoon session between 12pm and 3pm will be for older children between the ages of 8 and 12.

Registration can be done by calling 08022225585 and 08157202555.
