Airshop, a duty-fee marketplace that allows users preorder goods and pick it up while travelling, has emerged winner of the Seedstars World startup pitch event held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

The event had ten startups pitch before a panel of judges at the Orange Technocentre in Abidjan.

Coming in at a second place is ICT4DEV.CI, a platform solution for a modern and efficient agriculture and next to this is Africa Media Group, a video on demand platform.

Airshop will join 50 other startups at the global finals of Seedstars World scheduled for Switzerland next February.

TechCabal previously announced the ongoing Seedstars World’s pitch events holding across 12 African cities spanning the months May and November, 2015. The event has so far been held in Mozambique, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and now in Cote d’Ivoire.
