WumDrop-is-MTN-Business-app-of-the-year

WumDrop has emerged winner of the 4th MTN Business App of the year challenge, winning the US$15,570 top prize at the event that held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Developed by Benjamin Claassen and Muneeb Samuels, WumDrop is a courier application that allows users send any package anywhere, and with a click of a button.

The MTN Business App of the Year Challenge is a yearly contest tailored to discover value-oriented innovative applications able to solve the problems inherent in an enterprise, while driving customer satisfaction.

Alpheus Mangale, Chief Enterprise Officer for Mtn Business South Africa said “We are encouraged by the level of innovation and creativity that were showcased at the 2015 MTN Business App of the Year Awards. DStv Now (Best Consumer App category), M4JAM (BEST Wild Card App category), CPUT Mobile (Best Enterprise Development App category), Vula Mobile (Most Innovative App category), and EskomSePush (Best Breakthrough Developer App category) were other winners at the event.
