Nest, the Hong Kong-based startup accelerator that began operations in Kenya last month will hold a one-day “Idea to Pitch” bootcamp in Kenya, Disrupt Africa reports.

The event will give startups and entrepreneurs first hand insight into studies and practices from top players in the respective fields under review and will also gain feedback from their peers during the breakout session. It will also expose startups to designing, business planning and communications.

“The aim of the bootcamp is to help founders refine their ideas, understand their businesses and communicate their vision,” said Aaron Fu, Nest managing partner for Africa. “Nest has assembled a star studded cast because we believe something great happens at the intersection of technology, business and creative.”

The event will hold on the 22nd of August at the Foundry in Nairobi.

In July, TechCabal announced that the Hong Kong-based venture capital firm, NEST, had opened an office in Nairobi, Kenya to support African startups. Also in the same month it launched a monthly series for speakers called ‘What’s Next’.
