CcHub, in partnership with the US embassy, is hosting the first SciTech Women Meetup in Nigeria. The meetup is a quarterly event that will bring together women in STEM fields to discuss and share insight on issues that concern women in the Nigerian tech ecosystem.
The first edition of this event is taking place this Friday, April 22 on the 6th Floor, CcHub, 294 Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo-Yaba, Lagos from 10:30am to 12:30am. Discussions will revolve around the theme, “Creating the right conditions for women to thrive in STEM in Nigeria”.
It’s no news that women have a lot to overcome for them to thrive in the tech scene, so there can never be too many events and initiatives aimed at encouraging women. This event is all about creating a platform for empowering and inspiring the next generation of females in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
