Very shortly after launching the “Z3 Jakarta Edition” blackberry, the company is now working on a new QWERTY handset.

According to the BlackBerry 10.3 SDK, the phone will have a square screen with a 1440×1440 resolution and pixel density of 453 DPI, considerably higher than the definition of a retina display.

BlackBerry is obviously not giving up on making mobiles and they have a renewed committment to their QWERTY form factor. Remember the post, “Is it wrong to want a QWERTY device in 2013?“? Well like it or not, yet another QWERTY device will enter the market soon.

In other news, a SnapChat clone is now available on BlackBerry World.
