lekki
MyLekki is a website that seeks to connect the Lekki community online.

The website curates activities, lists businesses and creates forums for residents to connect and create user-generated content centered around Lekki and its environs.

According to Olumuyiwa George, Co-Founder of MyLekki,

“Mylekki is a 360 degree platform that brings residents and businesses of Lekki and environs together unto an online platform to do business, interact, network and have fun while we offer them an array of highly relevant location based services [likes] dating [forums], business listings, real estate deals, reviews, recommendations and exclusive discounts and deals.”

The business directory section is not as robust as expected and the dating forum is also out of order.

The idea behind this website is understood but its yet to generate much traction to draw the targeted community. It is expected that the company is doing what it can to drive traffic and but it is imperrative that the contents are improved and intuitive enough to get the desired result.

Olumuyiwa informed Techcabal that MyLekki is just the first of the many community focused websites of its kind that will be replicated in other communities. He also indicated that they provide consultancy services to businesses in the catchment area, which is the Lekki axis.

Launched in February 2015 by Olumuyiwa George and Demola Adetona, who serve as the business developer and the head digital expansion respectively, MyLekki is self funded and the founders have invested five million naira into the enterprise.
