SocialBamBam, Nigeria’s first micro service  marketplace that allows people to turn their talents/passion to wealth, said it has recorded impressive acceptance from the public in the first month of its launch.

Using Google Analytics App, SocialBamBam recorded a total of 44, 284  page views in the first 2 weeks, 11 percent of which are recorded in its bounce rate, that is, those that did not stay long on the site.

While the total number of added services stands at 129 and registered users at 670, the platform’s highest peak per day stood at 1, 200 sessions with an average user spending 4.27 minutes.

Speaking on the warm reception the site got in its first month, SocialBamBam Co-founder, Theophilus Ajayi, said: “it’s interesting to see young Nigerians embracing positive ways of making money online and also looking within to see how they can effectively turn their talents to wealth by providing micro services from the comfort of their rooms”.

SocialBamBam serves as a one-stop-shop marketplace for micro entrepreneurs to monetize their skills/talents or creative in display to the public for N1000, which can be anything from graphics, voiceover, visual info products, programming, makeup classes and other creatives that can meet the needs of the public.

The platform offers ease in payment as buyers have the option of paying via bank deposit and Debit Cards while sellers can withdraw their earnings through bank remittance, Cheque and SocialBamBam reloadable debit card.

For Buyers, they can browse the homepage, category or subcategory pages, or use the search to find a service they want to purchase. For Sellers, each ₦1,000 Service successfully sold and delivered SocialBambBam takes N200 while ₦800 will be credited into the seller’s account.
