The African Business Angel Network (ABAN), a pan-African non-profit and angel investing group, has confirmed the dates for its angel investor boot camp series in Africa.

The boot camp series, which was announced earlier this month, will officially kick off in Lagos on July 31.

Provisional dates for the Nairobi and Cape Town edition have now been confirmed. The event will hold in Nairobi on August 13, 2015 and in Cape Town on August 27, 2015, according to a Disrupt Africa report.

The event will feature an expert session, a master-class, the presentation of research and in-depth case studies.

“Objective of the series is to mobilize the early stage investing community and to grow a pan-African network of Angel investors,” ABAN states on its website, “Lessons learned will feed into the program for the 2nd Annual Angel Investor Summit scheduled for September 23rd as part of DEMO Africa 2015.”

ABAN Boot camp series is organised in conjunction with support of the US State Department, VC4Africa, Intercontinental Trust and the LIONS Africa Partnership.
