MTN Nigeria and key industry players in the technology sector have given their backing to TECH+, Nigeria’s major technology conference and exhibitions billed for July 24 and 25, 2015 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos

The endorsement came on Wednesday in Lagos at a media unveiling of the initiative which focuses on showcasing technology at its best with a view to helping people get the best out of life through optimizing the wide spectrum technological development.

The industry leaders include Huawei, Jumia, Google, Coscharis Motors, Samsung, Terragon Group, Enplug Africa, Atlantic Exhibition and Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency (LASAA)

Speaking in his address, Richard Iweanoge, GM, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, noted that the global impact of technology across all areas of human endeavour has made it more imperative that people stay in touch with the world around them to be able to identify with technological advancements that could reshape their world.

His words; “As we all know, technology is fast evolving and the world has become a global village where people from across the globe can communicate with one another with just a touch of a button. At times like these, it is important that we stay in touch with the world around us and keep track of the latest innovations that impact our world and our current existence.

Also speaking in her brief remarks, Head of Communications, Jumia, Bertille Guitton said her company’s involvement in TECH+ stems from the important role technology has played in making life easier. She stated that the company has deployed Technology to simplify commerce in the last three years of operations in the country.

Meanwhile, Coscharis Motors has announced plans to launch the Jaguar XE range at the Tech+ Conference and Exhibitions.

The General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Services, Coscharis Group, Abiona Babarinde revealed this while speaking at the formal unveiling of TECH+ Conference and Exhibitions.

According to him, the launch ‘is to highlight the importance we attach to the Conference’.
