Oxygen Broadband Network has announced that Wande Adalemo, the company’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, has turned in his resignation.

“Working with Oxygen was an exciting and rewarding time for me. However, the time has come for me move on to newer challenges,” Mr Adalemo said in a press release.

He won’t be disappearing from the broadband scene though. On life after Oxygen he notes, “…my dream is to get every Nigerian online qualitatively. I will still be involved with Wi-Fi and broadband related ideas and technology”.

Wande Adalemo co-founded Oxygen Broadband Networks in 2005. It was Nigeria’s first and largest Wifi network with over 80 hotspots in Lagos.
