20 teams from around the world will be selected to participate in The Global FinTech Hackcelerator. It is a 10-week virtual program that will culminate in a Demo Day (like all Accelerator programmes do) at the Singapore FinTech Festival on November 15, 2016. The challenge is to submit ideas or solutions to the 100 FinTech problem statements provided by the industry. The teams that make it will be given a cash stipend of $20,000, access to mentors, infrastructure support, and business development opportunities with industry leaders.
Startups aren’t required to give up any equity or IP (intellectual property) and the cash prize is $50,000 (in Singaporean Dollars). Deadline’s July 31, so apply now.
