As the buzz around the UnionX Challenge heightens, Union Bank will host a virtual Demo Day on Thursday, May 27, featuring start-up pitches, a panel discussion, conversations around innovation in banking and lots more!
Get set to watch these ten startups showcase innovative models which are focused on providing tech solutions in various industries – Gistabyte, Growth Tribe Africa, LogAgg, MYYInvest, OneID Technology, Symplifix, T40, Veta, Quizac and Yudimy.
Members of the public can register to join the session which will also feature an engaging panel discussion titled ‘Beyond Banking: Innovation Across Ecosystems’, with industry experts including Lola Ekugo, Union Bank’s Head of Digital and Innovation; Bunmi Akinyemiju, Partner, GreenHouse Capital, Africa; Ope Adeoye, Chief Plumber at OnePipe and Chinedu Azodoh, Cofounder of Max.Ng. The panelists will discuss opportunities for collaboration between traditional financial services providers and other industry verticals in exploring Beyond Banking opportunities.
