Global market research company, TNS and sister company Kantar Media, has announced a mobile research partnership with the mobile survey platform, GeoPoll, to establish new strategy as they work towards deeper market research in Africa.

The strategic partnership will grant TNS access to GeoPoll’s survey platform and user database for its clients in Africa. TNS and Kantar will leverage this relationship to expand on its Media Measurement Service in selected countries in Sub Saharan Africa.

“GeoPoll has worked hard to drive increased access to quality information in Africa. We’re excited to partner with TNS and Kantar Media to improve the availability of reliable, cost-effective data across Africa and look forward to expanding the partnership in the coming years,” James Eberhard, CEO of GeoPoll said in a statement to TechCabal.

GeoPoll is a mobile surveying platform revolutionizing the way data is collected, by asking people question on mobile phones without the need for data plans or internet access. The trio will jointly expand Kantar Media’s data products to more markets in Africa.
