Nkebet Mesele is a Financial Services Professional with over 17 years’ experience in a variety of industries including banking, payments, education, and telecommunication. She has been with Visa for 4 years and currently heads the Push Payments team in Sub-Saharan Africa and oversees the Solutions Management Organization in West and Central Africa.
Under her management, Nkebet has recorded key milestones including the launch of Visa on mobile in Nigeria & Ghana and facilitated and expanded access to new strategic fintech partnerships within the region. Prior to Visa, Nkebet was the Head of e-Business implementations at GTBank where she managed e-Business Advisory services as well as training & support to all the bank’s subsidiaries across the country.

A staunch problem solver and thinker, Nkebet was responsible for the development of bespoke solutions such as the GTWorld app amongst other initiatives.

Nkebet is passionate about child education and care. She serves as proprietress at an academy that supports less privileged children in Nigeria. Nkebet is an avid reader and enjoys cooking with her family.
