South Africa-based VC firm Knife Capital has announced that it's made an undisclosed investment in PharmaScout, a pharmaceutical temperature monitoring product developed by Cape Town-based healthtech startup 5nines Technologies. The funds will help accelerate the product’s rollout to pharmacies, medical practitioners and pharmaceutical warehouses.

Habitat for Humanity’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter has launched its Kenya's first ShelterTech Accelerator program. The program with target Kenyan start-ups and growth-stage companies that are bringing housing products and services to the low-income household market.
