Organized by KNUST College of Science, the event provided a platform for thought leaders to explore the intersection of blockchain and decentralization, paving the way for innovative solutions to emerge.

Notably, Adedayo also graced the prestigious Code Craft event in Accra on February 17th, where the fusion of blockchain and artificial intelligence took center stage. Sponsored by the Internet Computer Protocol, the event, organized by Remostart, served as a catalyst for interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange, further solidifying the Hub’s commitment to driving technological convergence and advancement.

Venturing into Cameroon, the Hub’s Francophone Dev Relations representative, Arold, played a pivotal role at the Web3 Impact Tour Conference on February 22nd. Organized by Blockchain for Africa and sponsored by the Internet Computer Protocol, the conference brought together industry experts and stakeholders to explore the transformative potential of blockchain technology in driving social impact and sustainable development across the region.

Looking ahead, Adedayo is set to captivate audiences once again at the University of Nigeria, where he will be speaking at the eagerly anticipated “Beyond the Walls of Campus” event on February 24th. Organized by TechyJaunt, the event is expected to draw over 3000 attendees, providing a platform for students and professionals alike to delve into the realms of innovation and entrepreneurship.

But the excitement doesn’t end there. The Hub has an action-packed schedule ahead, with upcoming events including “Bridging Blockchain and Brilliance” in Kwara State on February 28th, followed by the highly anticipated HackSphere Akure hackathon on March 2nd, organized in collaboration with GDG Akure, and hosted at the Karis OAK Event Palace.

In a culmination of its efforts, the Hub is gearing up for the grand finale of the Decahack initiative, aptly titled “The Pitch,” scheduled for March 29th. Bringing together over 20 promising startups from 6 universities across 4 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the event promises to be a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the boundless potential of the West African tech ecosystem.
