A few days after announcing her new board of directors, OjirehPrime has changed its name from OjirehPrime Financial Services Ltd. to Pryme Financial Ltd., as well as the name of its mobile app from the old OjirehPrime App to the new Pryme App. The company, which moved its headquarters to the United Kingdom a year ago in preparation for a UK launch, reaffirmed its commitment to achieving its vision to build a global banking platform for young Africans.

Mr. Edoka Idoko, the company’s founder and chief executive officer, stated, “Our story exemplifies a genuine African narrative characterized by perseverance, focus, and a dedication to growth and progress.” In addition, Mr. Edoka Idoko emphasized Pryme Financial Ltd.’s unshakable commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, which reflects their mission to become the preferred financial service provider for every young African

The rebranding will also see Pryme App expand its product offerings. “In the coming months, we plan to expand our revenue by launching new products, including expanding our credit model to create working capital for small businesses. Introduce  insurance products and provide multi-currency accounts exclusive to other markets outside of Nigeria.

According to a member of staff at Pryme Financial, the rebranding activities for the company go beyond a name change, its positioning for global expansion, which explains the reason behind its setup across Europe, the US, and Asia.
