In an unprecedented partnership, Tenece Professional Services collaborated with Nextenders (PVT) India to design, develop, and implement an innovative eGovernment procurement (eGP) system for the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ). Delivered within 6 months (global average is 25months), the fastest eGP deployment on record in Africa, this groundbreaking project was officially launched in person on the 23rd of October 2023, by His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe, in the company of other esteemed government officials.

At the historic event, the President of Zimbabwe and his team showcased the system’s capabilities by electronically opening an encrypted bid on the new platform. This milestone demonstrated the government’s deliberate pursuit of technological advancement and, highlights its commitment to modernizing procurement processes within the country. The project has redefined Zimbabwe’s procurement landscape, harnessing the power of technology to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and improve access for suppliers and contractors alike, both local, and foreign.
