If so, TVC Labs is excited to announce that applications are now open for MentorPitch, our 12-week mentorship program designed to help startups become investment ready and get access to funds.
MentorPitch is a pre-acceleration program designed for innovative African startups that have recently built their MVP and are already generating revenue. This comprehensive 12-week program, structured around the POEM Framework, runs biannually and offers participants the opportunity to get mentored by leading professionals and secure investment from the Angels@TVCLabs Syndicate and their co-investment partners.
Our program is centred on the POEM Framework, which posits that a startup Vision manifests as a Proposition delivered by an Organisation that is measured by its Economics as it achieves Milestones on its journey to Series A funding. We focus on helping startup founders improve their product or service offerings and grow their customer base. Founders receive guidance on building the strategic and organisational structures of their startups through an interactive mentoring method called PitchBack, complemented by one-on-one sessions, data room reviews, and in-person hangout events.
By the end of the program, startups are equipped to seek pre-seed funding from local and international early-stage investors starting with the angels who provided them with mentorship during the program. This unique approach ensures that participants are well-prepared to attract and secure the investments necessary for their growth and success from compatible investors that will nurture them along the way.
The eight MentorPitch program will start on the 18th October, 2024 and end on 28th February 2024 offering participants a generous timeframe to fully engage in the learning process. Over the course of 12 weeks, startups will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in valuable knowledge and skills. At the end of the program, startups that align with the investment criteria of the angel investors will get funding.
