Another week, another AMA. This time we’re hosting Ferdinand Ezeaniekwe, founder and CEO of online gadget marketplace, Ferdicon.com on Radar for an AMA on Thursday at 2pm.
Ferdinand, a graduate of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), class of 2014, is a young entrepreneur who owns an e-commerce site that sells phone cases, powerbanks, smartwatches, and computer accessories. Before launching Ferdicon, Ferdinand was as a vendor on other platforms like Jumia and Konga. He decided to venture out on his own after realising he had a strong enough customer base.
What else do we know about Ferdinand? We asked some pre-AMA questions:
1. What’s the first thing you do as soon as you get home/close from work?
Immediately I get home, I take my bath, eat & rest.2. What’s the most interesting client you’ve ever had? What did they do?
My most interesting client is Janet. She sells phones at VGC. I met her when I delivered one HTC M8 Smart Case to her and since then, I became the major supplier of phone accessories for her store.3. What would you do if your laptop crashed right now?
I have a redundant laptop for that purpose and all my files are automatically backed up via Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox simultaneously.4. What’s the one thing that people always misunderstand about you?
Many folks think I came from a rich home & I have all I ever wanted, but that’s not exactly the case.5. What apps are on your home screen?
I have few apps on my screen, but the most important app for me is Hollanow, Uber, Authy and Regrann. Hollanow gives me all the important phone numbers of dispatch riders based on logistics.
