Muktar Oladunmade is a Reporter at TechCabal tasked with covering daily technology news across Africa, funding stories, startups, venture capital firms, venture studios, and interviews. He is a graduate of Law from the University of Lagos.

Muktar’s interests lie in charting the growth of technology in Africa, the human and business impact of technology on the continent, and the people behind it. These interests have led him to contribute to the Digital Nomads‘ flagship. 

Prior to joining TechCabal, Muktar ran a newsletter on Substack about cryptocurrency. His passion for international diplomacy saw him serve, first as a researcher in 2019 and then as a Vice Chair in 2020, at the Lagos Model United Nations. He was also privileged to serve as President at the Ghana Model United Nations in 2020. 

Outside of his work, Muktar is a certified cinephile and considers Christopher Nolan’s films to be the Holy Grail. He enjoys working out, cooking, listening to music, and reading fiction.
