nigeria-elections

The 2015 General Elections are barely 8 months away and like every normal Nigerian, techies are concerned about the santity of the electoral process.

The Co-creation Hub, (CcHub) Lagos is convening top developers, designers, internet security experts, all techies in General, to form The TechSQUAD. The idea is for techie to contribute their quota towards assisting the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and other NGOs build platforms that will ensure free and fair General Elections in 2015.

TechSQUAD will be led by experienced developers and designers (SQUAD Generals), who will manage adhoc teams of SQUAD Agents to work on specific election and governance-based projects. As an incentive, SQUAD Agents will be financially compensated for time spent working on projects for the Government and NGOs.

Do the prospects interest you? You can sign up now as a SQUAD General or SQUAD Agent. Applicants will be vetted and shortlisted. Application closes on the 30th of June.
