Integrated telecommunications service provider, Orange, has expanded its reach to Wajir County in Northern Kenya.

OrangeKenya says this could help business growth and more robust spread of information in the Wajir county.

According to Company CEO, Vincent Lobry, in a release on the telco’s website, “ICT has become a key focus area for the county governments as they seek to deliver effective services to citizens. Orange is proud to be undertaking this network expansion.”

Orange recently onboarded 14 urban centers to its 3G network and hopes to bring the number to 41 at the end of 2015. The telco says expansion to Wajir is part of its plan connect the whole of Kenya to it’s network infrastructure.
