In Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, MTN Cote d’Ivoire announced partnership with SUMMVIEW, which has seen the launch of a new service called “MTN TV” accessible on mobile devices.

The global telecommunication operator, MTN Cote d’Ivoire now offers its users the ability to view a catalogue of live channels as well as on-demand videos.

With MTN TV, MTN Côte d’Ivoire expands its range of services and mobile applications and provides its subscribers an innovative offering of quality content, information as well as entertainment on mobile. The “one stop shop” offer of SUMMVIEW allowed mastering the costs and securing the roll-out. By deploying this new service, MTN continues its actions to offer its customers a new digital world and contributes to the emergence of a digital Ivory Coast,” said Mr. Wim Vanhelleputte, CEO of MTN Côte d’Ivoire.

Denis PAGNAC, CEO SUMMVIEW says, “SUMMVIEW is pleased to provide the service ‘MTN TV’. The SUMMVIEW Content Delivery Solution (S-CDS), a SaaS platform proposed in white label, is designed to meet the specific needs of each client, allowing MTN CI to propose its own mobile video service benefiting from the expertise of SUMMVIEW in the field of the distribution of video content on mobile phone.

For the time being, only five channels can be accessed on the app, FRANCE 24, Al Jazeera, TRACE AFRICA, BBLACK and TIJI.

The MTN TV app can be downloaded on MTN CI website and on Google Play store. With options to subscribe for a day, a week or a month.

SUMMVIEW, a company founded in 2012, specializes in developing apps and multimedia services (audio/Video) for smartphones, tablets, connected TVs, IPTV and OTT.
