The co-founders of the Nigerian online job board, Jobberman will now resume as Directors with stock options at One Africa Media, pursuant to the recent acquisition of Jobberman by the latter.

the acquisition yesterday.

In a press release sent to TechCabal, Jobberman, affirmed that, the online classifieds platform, OAM has indeed acquired 100% stake acquired the company and the founders, Ayodeji Adewunmi, Opeyemi Awoyemi and Olalekan Olude have become shareholders and directors in the group.

“[we are] pleased to announce that One Africa Media (OAM) group has acquired 100% stake in the company”.

The company said the Jobberman trio are still acting in their current roles as CEO and senior vice presidents respectively, but will operate at the group level bringing their proficiency to run other OAM-owned businesses via a shares roll-up deal.

“With the additional funding provided by OAM and the new group designations, we are better poised to achieving this goal and also growing other sister companies of Jobberman in the OAM group,” Ayodeji Adewunmi said.

One Africa Media (OAM) owns, operates and invests in a portfolio of online marketplaces across jobs, cars, real estate and travel. Its businesses operates in six African countries including Nigeria, and offers exposure to markets with rapidly growing internet and mobile penetration rates.
