Blackberry has announced that BBM for iOS & Android will come out today but it’s not quite as simple as that. You may be able to download the app but you’ll have to register and wait in line for access.  Samsung users in Africa should be able to get the app today but other Android users here may have to wait “three days”.

Finally: BBM rolling out in Google Play, iOS App Store and in select Samsung App Stores TODAYBlackBerry announced the release of its BlackBerry Messenger iOS and Android app – long awaited, no less. The company says that users should see it appear in Google Play, the Apple App Store, and in select Samsung App Stores. It will be free to download.
