The NASA Space Apps Challenge is finally here, opening with the Press conference today, the 11th of April at 9 am. It is slated to be a 4-day event, fully loaded with formidable tech personalities.
This list of people slated to attend includes and is not limited to Victor Okigbo (Centre Manager for iDEA Hub; Tomi Davies – Chairman of Mobile Mondays and spearhead for Lagos Angel Network; Mr Wole Shebioba (MD, Petrodata Management Services); Brian Jackson (Representative of Alpha Software US); Kendra Nnachi (Microsoft Evangelist); Tayo Obasanya (Arc Lights, Sole distributor of LEGO Education in West Africa); Bunmi Okunnowo (Special Adviser to the Minister of Communication and Technology); Walter Oluwole (CTO, LANCOR USA).
LEGO, Alpha Software US and Microsoft have each aligned themselves with the Space Apps Challenge by providing their own local challenges to span the 4-day challenge. Also noteworthy is the fact that LANCOR USA has implemented nationwide government and international enterprise apps using Alpha 5 successfully.
Curating the event will be the Project Lead for Space Apps, Oluseye Soyode-Johnson.
