Google Nigeria wants to show people in Nigeria that Google is so much more than a search box or an email address. From the 14th through the 16th of October, members of the public are invited to Google House.
“Google House is an experiential event for invited guests who will get to interact with Google as it applies to everyday life in Nigeria. It will be an opportunity to demo a variety of products and features in ways not yet fully explored.”
We’re not at the point where self driving cars, NEST, or Google Glass can have utility in this context, but the idea is to learn about how other well-heeled Google technologies can augment life here in Nigeria. In fact, I know a good place we can start. First we need all Nigerian e-hailing services to get their drivers to use Google maps.
This is an invite only event. If you like an invitation, send an email to bankole@techcabal.com. We’ve got only three to hand out, so fasters fingers first.
