Facebook-Messenger SMS

Facebook Messenger for Android now supports SMS. This means users can now send and receive text messages in Messenger without having to switch between apps.

To enable this function, users have to turn on “Default SMS app” in Messenger settings. SMS conversations will appear in purple while Messenger conversations will remain blue.

SMS in Messenger is only available to Android devices but recipients can be on any platform. This feature supports text, image, video, audio and other cool stuff like stickers and emoji.
