Our second Radar AMA this month is on Thursday March 9, and it’s with Dave McClure, founder and Managing Partner of startup incubator and venture capital firm, 500 Startups. This session is a ramp-up towards the first Geeks on a Plane tour to Africa that’s taking place this month.

With over $250M under management, 500 Startups’ incubator program is one of the most prestigious programs in the world and has invested in hundreds of companies around the world. Printivo, Talentbase, Dropifi, Kudobuzz, Podozi and Surebids are some African startups that have been part of the 500 Startups program.

Dave has also taught a class on social networking and Facebook at Stanford, and directed marketing initiatives at Simply Hired and PayPal.
