As we struggle with the reality of a Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, Sterling Bank has been educating its customers and the general public on how to stay safe during this period.

Not surprising though because the bank’s priority sectors are Health, Education, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, and Transportation, rightly labeled as the H.E.A.R.T of Sterling. With Health as one of the main pillars the bank supports, this unfortunate occurrence hits closer to home necessitating its novel interventions.

Firstly, there was the development of the COVID game, a simple but very interactive, fun and informative game developed to create awareness about the Coronavirus and more importantly, to show the right preventive measures to take when dealing with the virus.

If you haven’t played it yet, you still can at https://sterling.ng/cov19/

The most recent endeavor Sterling has taken in its creative corporate citizenship to combat the scourge of this unwanted pandemic is the free health care checkup for everyone. They are making doctors available anytime and anywhere. For  60 days, their customers will have 24-hour access to free medicals on Sterling’s Bank tab. All you need to do is visit https://sterling.ng/doc/ to get started.
Sterling Bank urges its customers and the general public to stay safe this period, wash your hands regularly and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds, make use of hand sanitizers when you can’t wash your hands and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet from other people if you are out of your home, but most importantly, stay at home and stay safe.
