The Economic Forum Series ®️ (EFS) under its Joint Venture Strategic Partnership with Vanguard Newspapers will convene its Annual FinTECH CyberSecurity & Fraud Summit 2023 in Partnership with FinTech Association of Nigeria (FinTechNGR), Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ATCON),  Association of Licensed Mobile Payment Operators (ALMPO) and Cybersecurity Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN).

The maiden edition with the strategic theme: The Role of Cyber Security in an Evolving FinTech Regulatory Digital Economy will hold on April 27th, 2023 at the Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The hybrid event scheduled to begin at 09:30 am prompt will be reported and streamed live across Vanguard’s digital multi-media cross-channel platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube) with a combined audience engagement of 9.5m followers. 

The summit will feature experienced C-level Executives, key industry players, stakeholders, compliance, regulatory and policy decision-makers across the FinTech sub-sectors, Forensic Finance Professionals, Cyber Security Specialists, ICT Experts, Academia, Development Finance Institutions, and Business Thought Leaders.

The Speakers and Panellists carefully selected given the thematic and strategic nature of the conversation are subject matter experts from FinTech, Banking, ICT, Academia,  Telecommunication, Legal, etc.  

Featured keynote Speakers at the Summit will include Jimoh Musa, Director, Payment Systems Department, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and Juergen  Peschel, MD/CEO at 9mobile, an experienced professional with an international executive track record within the IT, Managed Services & Telecommunications Industry.  

Niyi Toluwalope, MD/CEO,  eTranzact Int’l Plc, and Chika Nwosu, the MD/CEO of PalmPay, are also expected to deliver keynote presentations.

The sub-Theme: “The Future of Financial Fraud and Digital Security” seeks to deepen the conversation on data privacy, protecting consumer trust, and the security of the nation’s digital economy, among other things.
