SQI College of ICT began as a focused, mission-driven institution dedicated to producing industry-ready technology talent. A large part of the Edozzier building team consisted of SQI alumni, exceptional young professionals who had once walked the same halls, studied in the same classrooms, and learned the very skills they were now using to transform the college.
Because they understood SQI’s culture, systems, and goals, the process felt more like collaboration than consultancy. They weren’t outsiders fixing a problem, they were insiders building a legacy.
Many of these alumni have since gone on to lead teams in global companies such as Google, Moniepoint, and Interswitch, JP Morgan etc. Yet their journey of impact began here, contributing their expertise to design, implement, and scale a system that continues to power SQI’s growth today.
It was innovation powered by legacy. For many of them, it was an opportunity to give back using their skills to strengthen the very system that had shaped their journey.
