About TechCabal

The African tech ecosystem is filled with stories of triumph, grit, and innovation. TechCabal is where those stories live.

Since 2013, we have covered startup fundraises, exits and mergers, expansions, banking, and internet culture. We don’t talk about just the companies, we talk to the people building them, including startup founders across various sectors, policymakers, venture capitalists, operators, and other stakeholders. We tell the stories of players in the digital economy, providing a snapshot into key industries in Africa’s tech and business ecosystems. Because we believe that there is tech in everything, we tell the stories of technology innovation as it intersects with culture and other aspects of everyday life.

As the African tech space rapidly evolves, you can stay up to date about happenings by subscribing to our newsletters. The TC Daily newsletter hits your inbox every weekday at 7 AM (WAT). The Next Wave is our version of a crystal ball predicting the path and future of innovation on the continent; you get this every Sunday at 3 PM (WAT).

TechCabal is also keen to read opinions from expert stakeholders in the industry. Read our guide to learn more about what we’re looking for and how to submit.

On TechCabal, everyone is invited.
