TVCLabs, in partnership with TechCabal and TechCabal Insights, hosted AngelPitch 2025 on November 14, bringing founders, angels, and ecosystem builders together for a high-engagement investor showcase.
The event marked five years of the MentorPitch programme, introduced a new phase of founder-readiness infrastructure, and concluded with a fresh investment commitment into SolarCorp, one of the top startups from MentorPitch 10.
Nearly fifty participants joined physically and online, creating a focused space for honest conversations, investor-led critique, and strategic connections, the experience MentorPitch has become known for since MP1.
Celebrating five years of MentorPitch
The event opened with remarks from Amaju Enemiku, Programs Lead at TVCLabs, who recognised TechCabal and TechCabal Insights for their continued role in amplifying founder stories across the ecosystem.
Attendees traced the evolution of MentorPitch, the POEM-based founder support programme built on Tomi Davies’ framework for understanding and structuring technology-enabled ventures.

Over ten cohorts, MentorPitch has supported startups such as Niteon, Coventi, Dala Technologies, Blueroom Care Health and Mariam Grey, each benefitting from the programme’s tightly curated advisory model.
Introducing the POEM Digital Data Room
In the keynote address, investor and ecosystem leader Tomi Davies (TD) outlined the future of founder readiness at TVCLabs. He unveiled the POEM Certified Digital Data Room, a new automated verification system operated by the DiaGlocal Collective.
The platform helps founders build complete, validated, and investor-ready data rooms that reduce due-diligence friction, strengthen investor confidence, and make cross-border capital flows smoother.

SolarCorp lands investment at AngelPitch
The highlight of the evening was SolarCorp’s live pitch. The startup, now raising 100,000 dollars, has developed a platform that lets users lock today’s price for solar and EV assets, save toward the purchase, and access interest-free financing on the balance. An AI-driven credit engine tracks repayment behaviour to build a reliable credit history.
Founders Stephen Oyekanmi and Kemi Pacheco secured an investment commitment from the TVCLabs syndicate, including contributions from angels TD and Martin Vitek. A term sheet was signed on November 19.
Additional angels, including Folabi Esan and Arinze Anyaeche, explored follow-on interest during and after the session.
A new pathway for engaging with founders
TD reaffirmed that his personal founder engagement and readiness support will now be driven through the DiaGlocal Collective, a global community for African founders and angels. Members access POEM-based learning, weekly investor Q&A sessions, a private advisory space, one-on-one mentorship, and a committed network of builders working toward investor-grade discipline.
