The Cherie Blair Foundation is calling for mentors to join its mentoring program set up for female entrepreneurs in emerging economies, Disrupt Africa reports.

The Cherie Blair Foundation seeks to empower female entrepreneurs in growing their businesses and provides a year long one-on-one mentorship for participants. The foundation’s mentoring program is open twice a year and seeks to get mentors willing to help female entrepreneurs develop their confidence and skills.

The criteria for intending mentors is that they are professionals or entrepreneurs with at least seven years experience. They also must be able to commit to the one year mentorship of a mentee and meet online a minimum of two hours a month.

“You can enhance your own skills, profile and networks while making a difference to a woman entrepreneur in the Philippines, Egypt, Rwanda, China, Zimbabwe, Pakistan or a host of other countries,” the Cherie Blair Foundation said. “You’ll be part of a vibrant, online community of 3,000 mentees and mentors around the world. Mentors receive training and have access to events, a resource centre and a learning and networking forum,” the foundation added
