Lagos-based co-working space, the Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), has announced three new startups admitted to its Incubation program.
The startups are:
Grit Systems: a local IoT startup developing web-enabled technology for controlling and gathering data about household & commercial electrical power consumption.
Mamalette: a venture providing Motherhood support via its online community where Nigerian mothers and mothers-to-be can interact.
Autobox: is an online shopping platform offering Nigerians genuine auto parts and electrical accessories. Autobox was also the 2nd runner up of TechCabal Battlefield in 2014. The startup received an undisclosed amount of investment from the Lagos Angel Network mid-2014.
According to a statement to TechCabal, the three startups will each receive between $15,000 and $25,000 in seed funding, mentoring, business development support and office space.
CcHub has been known to take seven percent equity in its portfolio startups, which at present count now stand at 8, including Traclist, Truppr, Wecyclers, Vacantboards.and BudgIT, its first venture that graduated last December.
