South African digital content marketplace, Bozza is partnering with London-based crowdfunding platform, Emerging Crowd to raise up to $800,000 for 14% equity.
The offering puts the total valuation of the digital startup at over $4.8 million, according to the funding page. Investors in South Africa will be unable to participate through the Emerging Crowd platform due to regulatory restrictions. However, South African investors can invest directly in Bozza by getting in touch directly with the Startup.
“The beauty of listing on Emerging Crowd is that we have been through extensive financial and legal due diligence with international and South African teams, and our marketing documents and campaign video are available to view online”, says Emma Kaye, CEO Bozza Media.
Founded in 2013, Bozza Media is a digital marketplace for African content, such as music and movies. The startup operates a mobile first approach in its service delivery.
