Techcrunch’s editor Jon Shieber will be part of the judges at Tech Showdown, a pitch event organized by Lagos-based online agency, Marvel Web.
In an announcement made available to TechCabal, the goal of the event is to bring the Nigerian entrepreneur community together and create positive buzz around Nigeria’s tech entrepreneurship.
The event is taking applications from startups who want to pitch at the event.
“We’re hosting a Pitch-Off, where pre-selected companies will have exactly 120 seconds to pitch their product on stage to a panel of judges, including TechCrunch editor Jon Shieber.”
Other judges are Courteville founder, Bola Akindele, Funke Opeke of MainOne, iROKO partners’ Bastian Gotter, Chika Nwobi, Toye Akindele and Tokunbo Ogun, Marvel Web founder.
The event is slated for July 28th.
