Applications have opened for the Seedstars World pitch tour event set for Kampala,Uganda.
Disrupt Africa reports that the event will hold by the 11th of September 2015.
The event has been held in Mozambique, South Africa and Nigeria and Ghana this year and exactly like previous events, the Ugandan pitch seeks to pick the most outstanding startup in country that will head to the global event which will hold in February with the startups competing for $1,500,000 in investment.
“We are looking forward to seeing how the ecosystem has developed since last year. After meeting exciting companies like remit.ug we can’t wait to see what’s new in Uganda’s thriving startup space,” said Marcello Schermer, regional manager for Africa at Seedstars World.
TechCabal announced earlier that Seedstars World’s pitch events will hold across 12 African cities starting from the 26th of May to 27th of November 2015.
