Earlier, we reported that Joe Mucheru has been nominated as Kenya’s new Cabinet Secretary for ICT. Joe Mucheru is the Sub-Saharan Africa ambassador and Country Manager of Google. To add to that, he serves as a current board member of UAP Investments and BitPesa.

Joe Mucheru’s appointment is subject to vetting and approval of all nominated Cabinet Secretaries by the Kenyan Parliament.
