Hong Kong

Headline says it all. IM aggregator, Ongair, just announced the opening of their Hong Kong office.

Some time last year, the company received funding from Hong Kong based VC, Nest late last year to facilitate its expansion into the Asian market. This new office will be a physical presence, for the company, in one of the largest Asian cities.

Ongair, founded by Trevor Kimenye and Charles Gichuki, is a Kenyan platform that helps companies provide customer care using chat apps. Used by more than 700 businesses worldwide, it enables companies interact with their customers using instant messaging. This is done by layering a dashboard into chat apps like Whatsapp and Telegram.
