Google’s contextual card-serving notifications app, Google Now, is finally coming to desktop. If you own an Android phone running version 4.1 and higher, you probably already know how useful Google Now is.

Google announced yesterday that Google Now notifications will now be available for Chrome for Desktop users, rolling out over the next few weeks. To receive Google Now notifications on Chrome, first you have to already be using Google Now on your Android. You also have to ensure you’re signed in to Chrome with the same Google account you use on your Android. Other than that, you don’t have to do anything to get the update – just wait till Google updates your copy of Chrome.

Weather updates, sports scores, commute traffic, and event reminders cards are some of the notifications you will be able to receive on Google Now for Chrome. You can find out more about Google Now for Desktop here
