The Rise National Youth Forum is an initiative of Rise Networks, a social enterprise with a deliberate interest in technology and its relevance to youth and education development across Africa. Every once in a while, they organise these forums, with a focus on encouraging young Nigerian Graduates to embrace The Blue Collar Campaign Initiative (Hands on Skills).

After making previous rounds in Owerri, Umudike (Abia State) and Benin, this year The Rise National Youth Forum is coming further down west to Ado-Ekiti and is theme: “Nigeria Beyond Oil; Strengthening Youth Entrepreneurship in the next most productive sectors); Entertainment, Agriculture and Technology (The ‘EAT’ Model)“.

The forum will take the form of a 2-day event and will be host to an array of inspirational guest speakers including TechCabal’s very own Bankole Oluwafemi, who will be speaking on: Opportunities, Case Studies and Lessons in Nigeria’s Technology Business

The event is slated to commence at 12 noon today. Venue is the Ekiti State University, Iworoko Rd, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Entry and participation is free.
