To support the local and international security agencies currently involved in a search and rescue operation for the over 234 school girls abducted by Boko Haram, the British Government has promised to send in their advanced tracking technologies.

Special adviser to the president on the Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati says, “Upon request by President Goodluck Jonathan, the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, gave the commitment to deploy his country’s intelligence gathering resources in support of the search and rescue operations.”

China has also offered to assist in the effort to rescue the abducted girls. The president of China says he is committed to the the training of military personnel for future anti-insurgency operations.
